The Story
About
Chris Haa is a rock, hard rock and metal musician based in Richmond, Virginia.
He is a founding member of Slough Feg and the former lead guitarist of Heart of Darkness. He earned his BA in Musicology from UC Berkeley in 2002.
His sound draws on the classic heavy metal of Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, and his songs are built around storytelling lyrics. Following his 2016 album I Will, he has released a run of singles through 2025 and 2026, most recently I Was Awakened.
